Develop communication, courage and connection through horses
Animals often form special bonds with humans, and this is particularly true with horses. Emotional connections are created, through non-verbal communication, leading to relationships filled with a love and understanding that is often indescribable. Learning horsemanship comes with numerous benefits for those living with a disability, from physical aspects such as better balance, coordination and sensory integration; to psychological and educational factors such as improved self-confidence, discipline, interpersonal skills and spatial awareness.
We offer a program based in Tallebudgera QLD, where you’ll develop your horse-riding abilities in a therapeutic environment through 1-on-1 lessons, suitable for all – from children to adults, beginner to advanced. Our sessions run for 1 hour including time taken to saddle up and prepare your horse. We believe all riders need to learn horsemanship and the skills needed to ride. Throughout your progression we’ll coach you on finding your balance and becoming comfortable in the saddle, then advancing through the dynamics of riding.
We offer term bookings of 10 weekly sessions, in alignment with QLD public school term dates.
