Together Holiday Hub
What is Holiday Hub? Whilst the school holidays are an exciting time for most, we understand that it can also be unproductive for some kids or stressful for parents. Holiday Hub is a program we have designed specifically for students as an opportunity to unwind, have fun and make lifelong friends and memories after a challenging term of schoolwork. Parents and carers are given he opportunity to continue with their commitments whilst knowing their children are in a safe, supported and trusted environments, having the time of their lives.
Where: Activities will be based around the Gold Coast, with a general meeting/drop-off point where everyone will meet before our holiday hubbers head out for the day. Pick-up and drop-off from your home is also available if required.
When: Holiday Hub will run Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Days and activities are optional.
Who is it for: Holiday Hub is available for NDIS participants between the ages of 6 – 17. Support levels and requirements will be discussed individually with you as part of the registration process.
Activities: You will be sent an activities calendar every fortnight, which will cover the activities for the forthcoming 2 weeks.
Additional info: We understand that the age bracket of 6 – 17 years is quite large so our aim will be to split the ‘Holiday Hubbers’ into groups with other children of similar age and abilities to give them the best chance to have fun and find friends that they can relate to on an intellectual and physical level.
‘Holiday Hub’ is a program that is well supported by capable and experienced support workers who will create a fun and safe environment for your child. We will work individually with parents/carers to provide the level of communication you require.
All information provided above is a general overview. We will personally discuss support, locations, costs, and goals with you directly once we have received an enquiry from you.
